Super Visa for Parents & Grandparents

The Super Visa allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents to visit Canada for up to 5 years at a time without renewing their status.

What is a Super Visa?

The Super Visa is a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years. The key difference from a regular visitor visa is that it allows parents and grandparents to stay for up to 5 years at a time without the need to renew their status.

This visa was designed to help families reunite for longer periods while maintaining the temporary status of the visitors.
