Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
The Provincial Nominee Program allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province.
What is the PNP?
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is an immigration program that allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province or territory.
Each province and territory has its own unique PNP designed to meet its specific economic and demographic needs. If you receive a provincial nomination, you get 600 additional points toward your Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

General Requirements
- Meet minimum language requirements (CLB 4-7 depending on stream)
- Have relevant work experience in eligible occupation
- Meet education requirements (usually minimum high school)
- Demonstrate intention to live and work in the nominating province
- Meet specific stream requirements
- Have sufficient settlement funds
